- WHAT CAN I SAY - AMAZING!
-
- (sorry for shouting but this is the best thing since the RAD: disk..)
-
- I finally plucked up the courage to run it (after backups ;)
- My boot time is 5 secs!
-
- I have a 4 meg file in devs: which seems to be a "grabbed" snapshot of memory
- just after wb has loaded....
-
- S'funny I thought such a programs was unfeaseable...but here it is..
-
- So the boot time is the time to load that 4 meg file!
-
- Waheeyy aint amigas great!
-
- One little point though:
-
- I have a lot of stuff in my wbstartup drawer, so the 1st grabbed snapshot
- froze the system; wb hadnt finished booting.
- Simple solution though changed the wait from 3 secs to 15 secs....
-
- Oh, yeah how do I stop having 2 sets of volume icons...diskchange adds another
- set :(
-
- BTW I'm also using AFS so don't worry about it ;)
-
- Thanks Patrick, I thought it was a hoax, but I'll never flame a binary poster
- again...well not for a bit ;)
